How titration works

  1. 1Semaglutide and tirzepatide are increased gradually (titration) to reduce side effects.
  2. 2Enter your vial's mg and the bacteriostatic water you added: that sets the concentration.
  3. 3The table shows, for each weekly phase, how many units to draw on the U100 syringe.
  4. 4Tap a row to see that phase drawn on the syringe.

Frequently asked questions

What's the typical semaglutide titration?

The reference schedule starts at 0.25 mg weekly for 4 weeks, then 0.5 mg, 1.0 mg, 1.7 mg, and up to 2.4 mg maintenance, changing every 4 weeks. Your doctor may adjust it to your case.

And tirzepatide?

The reference schedule starts at 2.5 mg weekly and increases every 4 weeks: 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, and up to 15 mg maintenance. Always as medically directed.

Why does it give units, not mg?

Because in the syringe you draw volume, not weight. The calculator converts each phase's mg into the exact U100 syringe units based on your vial's concentration.

Does this replace my doctor?

No. It's an informational calculation tool. Semaglutide and tirzepatide are prescription medicines: their use and dosing must be directed and supervised by a healthcare professional.
